A lot of people have been throwing around posters for their dream casting of Good Omens, and there’s a few (Hiddles/Cumby!) that I really like, but when my flatmate and I were reading GO, we mentally both cast David Tennant and Jude Law as Crowley and Aziraphale, respectively. With that in mind, here is my submission for dream casting.

This is actually really brilliant. I could see them in the roles, and the poster looks great. I should really reread that book…

Flew from Amsterdam to Prague this morning. I’m really sad that I had to leave Amsterdam so soon. Despite all the walking and looking I’ve done, there’s so much more there I’d love to see. I definitely want to go back some day. I wish I could do a semester there or spend an extended length of time in the city, but I don’t know if that’s going to happen realistically. 

I have yet to go to the city center in Prague. Our hotel is on the outskirts of the city. I seriously doubt it’ll be better than Amsterdam, but I’m sure it’s nice in it’s own way.

NOW, THE STORY OF A SUPERHERO TEAM WHO WAS NEEDED TO FIGHT THINGS, AND THE ONE MAN WHO HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO BRING THEM ALL TOGETHER.

Europe Report!

Amsterdam is the most amazing, beautiful city I’ve ever been too. I’m sad I only have one more day here. I could see myself spending weeks, months or years here. I love the aesthetics here; the cobblestone streets, the 300 year old buildings, the bars and cofee-shops, and the canals! Those are all some of my favorite things in the world. Having them all in one place is incredible. The weather has been a little chilly, but it’s perfect cuddle weather. And speaking of cuddles, all the cute hipster girls on bikes here. Ahh, I can’t handle it!

I’ve also grown a bit more accustomed to beer, which was one of my goals when I came here. I figured that if I had a couple really excellent beers, that would make American beers a little easier to choke down in the future. 

So yeah, it’s great here. I would love to spend a semester here or do a summer dialogue but there are practically no applicable dialogues or classes here, or anywhere for that matter. That’s the problem with music tech and cinema studies; there are very few, if any international studies that fit the bill I need. Sadly, these college years are the best time to travel abroad, but my necessary curriculum really doesn’t agree with time away from Boston. But being overseas in a different country is so incredible, I don’t want to miss out on these chances. I would probably spend every semester overseas if I could.. Guh, what to do? What to do?

Amsterdam is awesome! The city is beautiful and full of wonderful hipster cafes, coffeeshops, and stores. It’s a little colder than I would have liked (7 Celsius), and I didn’t pack anything heavy, but it’s tolerable. 

I can’t wait to get a good look around tomorrow. I’m too exhausted today.
